We believe workspace bookings should be flexible. Here's exactly how cancellations and refunds work — no surprises, no fine print mazes.

At a Glance
Work246 offers booking flexibility across meeting rooms and podcast studios. The key principle is simple: the earlier you cancel, the more you get back. All refunds go to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Partial amounts may be issued as Work246 Credits (valid 90 days).
Meeting Room Bookings
Our meeting rooms are available in half-hour slots across all Work246 locations. Cancellation windows below are measured from the booking start time.
24+ hours before
Full Refund
100% of booking amount refunded to original payment method (minus gateway fees).
2–24 hours before
50% Refund + Credits
50% refunded to your original payment method. Remaining 50% issued as Work246 Credits valid for 90 days.
< 2 hours / No-show
Non-refundable
No refund or credit is issued for same-day cancellations or no-shows.
Podcast Studio Bookings
Podcast sessions involve pre-session equipment setup and, optionally, post-production work. Cancellation windows apply to the session start time.
48+ hours before
Full Refund
100% of session fee (base + add-ons) refunded. Deliverables fee refunded if production hasn't started.
6–48 hours before
50% Refund + Credits
50% refunded to source. Balance credited as Work246 Credits. Deliverables fee refunded if production hasn't started.
< 6 hours / No-show
Non-refundable
Session fee and any add-ons are non-refundable. Post-production work already in progress is non-refundable.
Add-Ons & Equipment
Add-ons (whiteboards, projectors, catering, extra microphones, lighting rigs, backdrops, etc.) are refunded in full when the parent booking is cancelled within the applicable window.
Work246 Credits
Validity
Credits are valid for 90 days from the date of issue. They expire automatically and cannot be extended.
Usage
Credits can be applied to any future booking on the Work246 platform — meeting rooms, podcast studios, or add-ons.
Non-transferable
Credits are tied to your Work246 account and cannot be transferred to another user or account.
No cash value
Credits cannot be encashed or redeemed for cash. They hold no monetary value outside the platform.
Payment Gateway Fees & GST
Cancellations by Work246
In the rare event Work246 cancels a confirmed booking — due to facility maintenance, natural disasters, civic disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control — you will receive:
Full Refund
100% of the booking amount, including payment gateway fees, refunded within 5–7 business days.
Free Reschedule
Option to reschedule to an equivalent slot at any Work246 location at no additional charge.
Work246 will notify you via registered email and SMS as soon as a cancellation is confirmed.

Cancellation confirmed
You receive a cancellation confirmation email with the full refund breakdown.
Day 1–2
Refund initiated
Work246 initiates the refund to your original payment method.
Day 3–7
Refund credited
Amount credited to your bank account, UPI wallet, or card. Bank processing times may vary.
How to Cancel a Booking

Open My Bookings
Log in to your Work246 dashboard and navigate to My Bookings.

Select booking
Click on the booking you want to cancel and select "Cancel Booking".

Confirm
Review the refund amount shown, then confirm. A cancellation email will follow immediately.

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied or delayed, our billing team will review and respond within 3 business days.
